price you pay should get free wifi not just free 30 mins lots hotels even b n bs give free wifi out so bit let down tho staff are always polite and friendly .. only other complaint is cars without blue badge parked in disabled bay disagree with that as there only 2 spaces also we got there one space n another car taken other disabled bay with no blue badge surely this wrong

I stayed here for one night. Staff were very helpful and polite. I had to check in late as my daughter had just given birth the night i was checking in and the lady i spoke to reassured me that my room was still available as i was worried as it was very late by the time i arrived they might of thought i wasn't coming, so i called the hotel which was answered quickly.. The hotel staff are all very friendly. The beds were clean and comfortable. Rooms a bit dated and could do with a new touch of paint and new carpets but overall the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. There is no Hair dryer in the rooms and I'm not sure if travel lodge supply them so remember to take one if you use one. I had the Family room and it was very spacious. Fan was on in the room when i arrived which was very nice and a low ambient light in the room as i entered as it was past 11pm i arrived. I've given 4 stars for the rooms as they could do with a lick of paint especially the dark blue paint as it had lots of marks on it, but overall i really enjoyed my stay here. It can be a little noisy when people are walking down the corridor but that's to be expected in staying in any hotel. My stay was a great price. And i would definitely stay here again. The cleaning staff all do a fantastic job as well, as a former cleaning business owner they have cleaned to a great standard and deserved to be recognised for their hard work. Spotless room and very clean bathroom. 5 Stars for the Staff and Service 4 stars only because the owners of the travel lodge need to pay to upgrade and paint the rooms. Your staff work so hard and do an excellent job running your chain of hotels they deserve to have an updated hotel with freshly painted rooms.

Great basic hotel, very comfortable, accomodating and pet friendly

Room(s) in need of a revamp. Smoking odours greet you upon room entry indicating some guests do not respect the facilities they're offered. Service is reasonable and the location is convenient for those travelling and require easy access to the motorway.

Location and Staff are great, but Travelodge really need to change how they heat/cool their rooms, that's not just this hotel, heater was turned off and had window open and room was still extremely warm. Unfortunately due to the location of this hotel next to two busy roads this meant alot of road noise due to having the window open (there isn't any noise if the windows are closed though)
