I got room 10 a room with king bed corner unit with windows on 2 walls which open. New looking room came with a kettle and a quiet mini fridge. The only issue is in late July it was very cold at night and unfortunately their portable radiant heater was weak. Ana the owner and receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Some English spoken. Cheaper if you book directly with her. They have a website with WhatsApp #. It was very quiet both nights, the walls between rooms are thick and solid. 5 minute walk to Ollantaytambo plaza. I would return to this hotel. The breakfast and lounge area is delightful. Hot water takes a while to come on and may run out. This is common even in Cusco guesthouse.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here, they had a family room which worked well for our family of 5. The host was very hospitable and gave us recommendations on what to do in town. We climbed this gorgeous hike and had a lot of fun.

Loud and basic. But it is a basecamp, essentially.

Ana is a wonderful host who makes you feel right at home! The rooms were clean, service was excellent, and bag storage was secure. Breakfast was simple and identical daily, but clean. Our only major complaint is the $80 USD "private" van service we booked through the property to Cusco. It wasn't private at all. The van already had a passenger in the front, and the driver prioritized their drop-off over ours, dropping our suitcase on the street in the process. Another passenger even hopped in afterward. It was definitely not worth the price. Stay here for Ana's hospitality, but skip the van service!

Great base for your Maccu Picchu trip - at significantly lower altitude than Cusco and close to reliable trains to Aguas Calientes (10min walk to the station). The host speaks good English, the breakfast is nice and you get good value for your money. Make sure to check the local ruins while in Ollantaytambo - Pinkuylluna is free to access!
