Excellent hotel, impeccable cleanliness and service.

Close to the old town, but the rooms are small and dirty.

The rooms are a bit old and worn, but comfortable. The service is excellent; they are very friendly and willing to help.

The room was always clean and tidy. The service was always available whenever you needed it, and the best service I ever received was from a boy, who seemed to be about 13 years old. And the location is the best in Uruguay; if you're a tourist, you have to go there.

An historic place to stay. With all the features of an old building. Close to the old town. Comfortable beds, hot water. Not luxury but we liked it a lot.

The hotel's location is excellent. The breakfast options could be improved. It's an authentic building, a good place to stay.

People were making loud noises at night (also the employees talking loudly, I couldn't sleep). No breakfast (although it was stated that free breakfast was included). Instead I was offered breakfast in a cafe that opens at 12! Bedside tables for half the room are unnecessary, sharp corners of the bed, terrible unfriendly employee who made me leave the key at the reception at 8 am when my things were still in my room, check out at 10:00! The elevator didn't work! The hairdryer was old and barely worked. The worst service I've ever encountered. In the photo from the hotel there was a terrace that was not accessible. The room was very different from the one in the photo, there was no balcony either.

Hotel located in the old city of Uruguay. At first, a charming place, but after a few hours, it becomes tiring as there are no attractions.

It's a beautiful old-fashioned hotel. Simple, well-maintained, affordable, and with excellent service from the staff. It's our favorite hotel.
