Hôtel Quartier, un hôtel Ascend Collection

Rooms are very small, don't eat too much if you want to go to the bathroom, you won't fit. The rooms aren't really clean, the walls look dirty, the bed covers are also not quite clean, and the pillows don't smell good. On the upside, the breakfast is relatively good for their price range. Overall, I won't do it again, for this pirce we could book better places in the same kind of location features.

I recently stayed at Hotel Quartier 2955 Ascend Hotel Collection in Quebec and unfortunately had a safety incident I feel obligated to share for the benefit of future guests. Upon entering the hotel with my group, I tripped and fell face-first at the entrance. The entry door does not appear to be a sliding door, which created a hazardous situation when multiple guests were entering at the same time. What concerned me most was the response from the front desk staff. When I reported the incident, the receptionist was dismissive and argumentative, stating that I was “the only one” to have ever fallen there. Rather than logging the incident as a safety report, he chose to debate the matter instead of addressing it professionally. I want to be clear that I am not sharing this out of anger, but out of genuine concern for other guests who may face the same situation. Hotels have a responsibility to log safety incidents and take steps to prevent future ones. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews both the entrance safety setup and how staff are trained to handle guest concerns. I wish the hotel well and hope improvements are made.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and, once again, we have been very satisfied. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff service is always good. The hotel is also well located, close to amenities and shopping centers, which is very convenient. The pool is lovely, and the included breakfast is a significant bonus. The value for money is excellent.

Avoid the first floor, which accommodates groups who may be more or less discreet! But the hotel isn't responsible. Helpful and friendly staff.

We stayed here coming back from New Brunswick going to Ontario. We arrived early and the young gentleman at reception checked us in early and gave us a room. The room was very nice and clean. When I went looking for the ice machine one of the cleaning ladies told us where it was and even went and got it for me. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very quiet. I would stay there again if out that way
