One of the best places in the city, with its own characteristics. Do not expect to find a beach of white sand, waves and warm waters. But look at the place and everything it offers and have fun.

With forest and lake, the dogs just love it here! Huge fenced space, perfect for long walks. Most owners here are super responsible, which also makes for a lovely time!

Cherry beach is great! Although the water is usually too cold to swim in it, it is great for kids and dogs to wade in and play in the sand. There are benches and picnic tables and the bus drops you right there.

A sanctuary in the city, this beach can be reached within 20 mins walk from downtown Toronto. A quiet area for one to escape from busy city life and indulge in personal reflections.

I love to come here with my dog, because dogs are allowed to run free. It's so great to see them all playing in and around the water! There is a snack bar here, and lots of parking. Good for humans, too!

Did some paddling from the beach here. Kind of an industrial neighborhood just a stones throw from downtown TO. Clean beach, bus service and a decent view of the area. The only thing about this place is it is totally overrun with dog owners going to the dog park on the one end of the beach. I guess if you stay to the East side you'll have a nice quiet afternoon but if dog parking is your thing the West side would be where you want to be. From what i heard from some people is you don't want to head down there after dark so just beware of that.

Though beloved by most Torontonians this place is actually a little overhyped (as are most beaches in the city). For those who want some sun and sand, it fits the bill, but it is not a particularly compelling place to be.

Parking is free and close, but difficult to get to due to limited spaces. Great dog park and dog beach area. Great beach for paddle boarding, canoeing, sailing or sitting reflecting.

Very large with an area to run in the woods and an area to play in the water. Clean and well kept. Friendly dogs. Easy parking.

A lovely beach. Off the beaten path and never too crowded. Views of Toronto island and Leslie St spit. Decent amount of parking, although I usually prefer to travel there by bicycle. Renovated washroom facilities and usually a door cart or two during peak times. Peaceful and relaxing.

It's a quiet place with a good atmosphere. I haven't been at night, but they say it gets really cool. I went and my kids loved it.

Probably one of the best beaches in Toronto of all time. It’s not busy at all and the whole area is really pretty! The food truck is expensive as expected, if you want food prepare to spend some cheddar. It’s really nice!!
