Hotel Opportune

Great location and facilities. Can’t complain tis a 11/10. Everything about the place is really great - they have everything you need iron and board, shower gel body lotion, mouth wash - fresh towels. Also they have seating and a fire place and it’s has great cooking facilities to the point you can eat fairly well and free coffee with a machine and kettle. Highly recommend for anyone solo, couple or family. Would happily return :)

Hello everyone! I had the chance to stay at this hotel and I really want to share my impressions. Pros: 1. Very clean — you can tell they really take care of the place. Every minute of the stay felt comfortable. 2. Great location and view from the window. It’s close to the city center, and you can easily get anywhere you need. 3. The staff were very welcoming and always friendly. I especially want to mention the front desk employee Kristina — probably the sweetest person I’ve met during all my travels. She patiently answered all my questions and had a genuinely warm smile. Highly recommend!! The only downside was the paid shared kitchen, but at least they mention it during booking. Honestly, it’s cheaper to just go eat somewhere outside.

We are staying at Opportune Hotel May 20-27, 2026. It’s “are staying”, because I’m posting on May 25. So far we have loved the place: Location: positioned very well in downtown area. Easy access to harbour front, maybe 15 min walk, north or west. Easy walk to Stanley Park, maybe 20 min. On East side, light walk to Gastown. A lot and a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores all around. Cleaning: we found the place very clean and every time they cleaned was very though. Yes there is a $25 charge for using the kitchen but it’s understandable. Service: Front desk is very polite, very friendly and great recommendations. Ready to assist every time we reached out to them. Room: very bright and ultra large, good for a family of four with two queen beds. Kitchen has all you need for four people, table and chair for sitting. The view on the back is not ideal from our level but because it’s on the back no much noise. Value for money: I think we paid as much as for a two star hotel while it was a 3-3.5 hotel, hence great value.

Our stay at HOTEL OPPORTUNE, previously Divya Sutra Suites, was wonderful! If arriving from Vancouver Island, the hotel is conveniently located just a five minute Uber ride from the Hullo ferry terminal. Upon arrival the hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The penthouse suite had a private bedroom including a balcony with a beautiful view of both the ocean and Robson street, great for photography. The cost of the suite was also quite affordable. I would definitely stay here again and I’d highly recommend it to others.

I had a great experience at Hotel Opportune. Friendly staff from the start. I met with the General Manager, She was very accommodating and made sure everything was taken care of. The rooms were spacious and clean, which made the stay really comfortable. The location was amazing—so many great cafés and restaurants around, lots to explore. The best part is that it’s close to Stanley Park and English Bay, which made it perfect for walks and just enjoying the area. Thank you for the great stay!
