AC Hotel Ann Arbor Downtown

I have been talking with this hotel since December before they opened up to help promote the grand opening. We scheduled a time in March and they canceled on me and told me to follow up in May. I followed up in May and they told me they weren’t interested in working with my small business. Very unprofessional and non-responsive. If they run their hotel like they run their marketing department, I would highly recommend you stay away. There are plenty of good hotels in Ann Arbor.

Brand new hotel. Rooms are pristine. Location is great, central to all the dining and bars. But the hidden gem is the hotel bar with precision crafted drinks and bartenders that treat you like guests. Have a nightcap, it's will be the best part of your stay!

Site says parking and breakfast are an extra charge- they dont mention its 20 for a standard breakfast that usually is free anywhere else and $40 a night for 'valet parking'... the lot is about 100' x 100' and they turn the car around, backing it up about 20 feet. And the room is not the most reasonably priced either. Lastly, it is not easy to find the place... suble sign only seen from one direction. Not worth the cost, stress or lack of amenities, but the staff is very responsive and communicative!

This review is for the bar only - we are local, and stopped in for a cocktail yesterday. The bartenders are the real deal, and the menu is bespoke to this location (not a corporate push) that they have developed. The atmosphere was great, and there were a combination of locals and guests sitting at the bar in the middle of a weekend afternoon! Stop in - it’s a really nice experience.

Just stayed here for Mom’s weekend. It’s a beautiful hotel and perfect location. The front desk staff (Tracy & Sean) went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I would love to stay for parent’s weekend.l and the next 4 years that I visit UM. Thank you agian for making it memorable.

This was such a great experience. I was in town for work, and the hotel was super comfortable and convenient. The staff was terrific and the room was really great. They have a mix of feather and foam pillows, which is brilliant because I usually have to specifically ask for feather pillows. The mattress was very comfortable too!

The people are very nice. May be new but it has a weird smell. Luxury? I think not. No robes. If you have a suitcase that has two sides lying flat when you open it, you'll have to put it on the desk because it won't fit on the luggage shelf because the bar from the rack where you hang your clothes is in the way. Bar staff is nice, caesers salad is not good. Tastes like bottled dressing. Won't be staying here again. Three stars is for the room.

Brand new hotel, great service and staff. Very clean and the bed was great. Location was perfect and there was a bar. Best prices in town for a nice hotel

I stay at a lot of ACs and this is far and away the best one. Service, design, hospitality all above and beyond. Casey is the best!
