Château Coralini

Top ten reasons not to stay here. 1. The drive from Carmel, 45 min. The traffic was horrendous to and from. 2. The bed was way too high. No stool provided. I’m not a pole vaulter. 3. Good luck getting in the shower-tub. A definite falling hazard. 4. Room was filled with the pungent odors of Indian cooking. I love the food. Hated the intensity in the room. It did not dissipate for several hours. 5. Door codes to welcome you at the entry and the room. No one was on the property. 6. Bees! I love roses. But did not want to get stung. 7. The carpeted areas and stairs were hard to traverse. 8. Customer service was lousy. I called several times and could not reach anyone. 9. They provided water in a pitcher. I’m not sure if it was filtered or from a faucet. Bottled would have been nice. 10. If you have a family emergency and need to cancel your last night…they will definitely not refund your stay. Incredibly selfish and shortsighted! Customer service is everything.

We had a great 2 night stay in the private cottage (A historic building converted into a nice cozy little family suite). The hosts were very friendly and shared lots of great info while also letting our kids play with their cute and friendly little pup and baby chickens. Highly recommended.

Chateau Coralini was wonderful and our savior in need. On Dec 26, we got stranded in Carmel when our booked hotel was unable to accommodate us due to a power outage. With everyone going to Monterey, I looked land inwards and could not have found a better place. We booked over the phone and headed there immediately. It seemed too good to be true in our situation but upon arrival, we saw that Chateau Coralini was beautiful and comfortable. We had a really good night. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in this neighbourhood. We visited Pinnacles NP the next day.

The place was awesome including the housekeeping services and the peace around the property was the best

We Love the Chateau Coralini! The rooms are wonderful, warm and elegant. My wife and I stay there whenever we travel to Salinas to visit our son, daughter in-law and grandson. They have recently added an in house host who is very friendly and accomidating. Thank you Sweetie!!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau when we went out to visit my sister, who lives in the Las Palmas Ranch subdivision. We were originally going to stay with my sister, but a new dog in the house prompted her to think it would be a better idea if we stayed somewhere else, and she booked us at the Chateau. So it was a surprise for us...a very nice one. The house was within easy walking distance to my sisters house. The Chateau is a beautiful, historic house and has the feel of a Bed and Breakfast when you walk in. Although more of a hotel setting, it does have some nice amenities. The large front parlors are nicely decorated and able to accommodate a fairly large number of people although we hardly ever saw anyone else. We did happen to catch the owners one day and they were very sweet and anxious to be of service and make sure you have anything you needed. They do live on premises and are easy to get hold of if needed. So while there is no staff just sitting there at a desk--which would be silly given the occupancy capacity of the hotel--it is obvious that everything is tended to. Coffee pods were always replenished and same for all of the consumables that are available for guests in the front parlor. Along with all the dishes and glassware needed should you want to spend some social time outside of your room. We were in room 207 which is an upstairs room at the front of the house. It has all the classic charm of a house of this vintage. The bed was large and comfortable, the bathroom had two sinks in an antique cabinet and the shower had plenty of hot water. A nice TV and mini-fridge rounded out everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again next time we are out and highly recommend you do to. Oh, and forgot to mention that the pricing is very reasonable. Thank you to our wonderful hosts! P.S. One suggestion, more hangers in the armoire would be helpful.

Excellent facility, reasonable rates, prompt service. Historical facility. Lots of ambiance. Very quiet.

There was an issue with my booking online and the staff here went above and beyond to take care of the issue so I didn't have to worry about anything. I also left some possessions during my stay and the hotel found and safely stored them until I was able to retrieve them, when it would've been so easy for them to throw it away. The rooms were elegant, clean, and peaceful, and the entire stay felt like royalty. If you are anywhere near salinas, you need to do yourself a favor and stay here at least once

She was kind, thoughtful, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. Her gracious hospitality and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay. she genuinely cares about each guest’s comfort and experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.

This was my third stay at Chateau Coralini, and every time I come back, it feels just as magical as the first. The property is absolutely stunning—elegant, peaceful, and so well cared for. The big, beautiful mansion has a timeless charm that makes you feel like you've stepped into another world. Honestly, every time I walk through those doors, I feel like a queen. It’s rare to find a place that offers both luxury and warmth, but Chateau Coralini does exactly that. I'm so glad i found this hidden gem, and i already know I'll be back again soon :)
