The Paloma Resort

My boyfriend and I have been to your property several times and we have always loved it here, in fact we consider it our place but our most recent visit which was on 12/23/25-12/25/25 was a very bad experience. I took pictures and would like to post. First, I picked a certain room and was given something different, the living room carpet was so dirty, the bathroom sink was slow draining and the metal pieces dividing the rooms were all loose, I tripped and almost fell.There was also a huge pile of dog poop right in front of our door. I talked to the "gentleman" at the desk (a hispanic male) was very rude and told me if I did not like it, I could stay somewhere else. I asked for a credit and he told me he would talk to the manger and get back to us which he never did. We were just so disappointed and even consider not coming back to stay there. We kept coming back because we had loved it so much. Please respond Thank you, Jenine Perea Todd Halderman Reservation was under my boyfriend's name.

We had a very nice stay at the Paloma in Palms Springs. Very nice room, comfortable bed and nice food and excellent drinks made our stay really enjoyable. We visited the nearby palms springs air museum which is worth a visit for all aviation fans. Can 100% recommend the location

I stayed here for only 1 night. Check in was smooth and the front desk staff was very nice. The lobby is well decorated. The rooms however, unfortunately did not meet expectations. The beds were very, very uncomfortable, the pillows even more so. IMO this is the most important aspect of any hotel….The linens also did not feel very clean. The rugs under the beds were quite filthy and definitely need replacing. The bathrooms were clean. Another downside if you are on vacation- it’s impossible to sleep in. You will wake up with the sun because there is no blackout shades. My room even had skylight windows. I stayed here in Dec so heat wasn’t a problem but i imagine in the summer time these rooms probably feel like a sauna.

My wife and I really wanted to like our time here, and in some ways we did, but the lack of attention to detail in so many aspects compromised our experience. The good: -The man who checked us in was very friendly and accommodated an early check in at no extra cost. -The rooms are fun, modern and large. Ours even had a walk in closet, nice size fridge and freezer, and two very large TVs -The pool deck was nice, definitely not crowded and the pool was nice to swim in The bad: -Our bed only had sheets - that's it! Two flat sheets. No comforter or bedspread, and no blanket in the closet. -We had four bath towels but no hand towels or wash cloths -Both TV remotes only worked very intermittently and we couldn't really operate the TVs -The bed was too firm, springy and really uncomfortable :( -There were only sheer blinds in the room so the sunlight woke us up early; no blackout curtains -The hot tub was lukewarm and the jets didn't work -Other issues included a broken white noise machine, filthy walkways, and two dead beetles in the blanket we requested since our room had only sheets for the bed. Lastly, we stayed Saturday through Monday in December and the place was dead. Really strange. I knew the reviews were a bit mixed on this place but the rates were reasonable and despite our issues there were positive aspects. But the place was so empty (especially Sunday to Monday) that it felt eerie. No one even at the front desk most of the time. Overall, we would not come back.

Very nice airy outdoor bar. Great food. Rooms are very nice and spacious. Close to restaurants and the golf course

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. We really enjoyed our first stay so decided to return. Pros: great layout/grounds, easy access to rooms, quiet, fun decor, spacious rooms, nice pool and not too expensive. The view of the mountains is awesome and there are stores close for any needs. The shower was great as well! Cons: The rooms were slightly dirty, with baseboards and food under the beds. The bicycles were out of service (tire issues that had not been able to be resolved over last few weeks), and we never received tissues because they were out. We also had to hunt down pool towels both days because they were being laundered. These issues weren't deal-breakers, but they were frustrating because it seemed like a lack of adequate staffing/mgmt planning. If they fixed some of these issues we would come back. One other thing to note is that the bar/restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Paloma Resort, Palm Springs Review November 9, 2025 For those that won’t read this entire review, I’m putting this sentence right out front so you DON’T MISS IT. Our room was intended to be equipped with two SMOKE DETECTORS, both of which had been removed; and, given their height on the wall at 9 ft, 11 in, it’s unlikely a prior guest was to blame. (See attached video and/or pics.) I don’t understand why this venue is rated so highly. I’m refraining from referring to it as a resort, except in the context of being a last resort. The Paloma more closely resembles a two star motel. We arrived on a Sunday in early November, unbeknownst to us this was the last day of Palm Springs Pride. We paid $350 for our two night stay, Sunday and Monday, with checkout Tuesday. The lowest rate for this room off season is $68 a night. (My budget for this room would not exceed $90 a night in peak season.) At $175 a night I have some reasonable expectations. I like to see a few toiletries on the bathroom counter, i.e. travel size bottles of lotion, a shower cap, an emery board, you get the idea. If there’s a tissue box, there should be tissue in the box. (We had an empty tissue box, a couple of q-tips, and a cosmetics towel on our bathroom counter.) Bathroom linens should, At the very least include two full size bath towels, two wash cloths, a floor towel, and a hand towel. (Our room had one bath towel and one hand towel, no wash cloths.) It’s also nice to see an extra pillow and blanket in the bedroom closet. (They got the pillow right, and two robes hung in the closet.) Upon our arrival we were greeted by a young man standing behind the check-in desk, with several open bottles of liquor before him. He was clearly intoxicated, very animated, and of course, a bit obnoxious. He introduced himself as someone that used to work for the Paloma and then introduced the woman next to him as someone that works for the Paloma and would check us in. After confirming our reservation and discussing the details of our stay ($200 deposit) the woman excused herself to go see if our room was ready, leaving us alone in the lobby with the motel’s intoxicated former employee. This was somewhat disturbing since check-in was at 4:00 PM and we didn’t arrive until 6:00 PM. The following day, Monday, we got a late start and didn’t head out until 1:00 PM, but before leaving we confirmed with the maid that she still had time to clean our room. Upon our return at 7:00 PM, the room was just as we had left it. When we inquired at the front desk as to why our room was not cleaned, the man behind the counter began asking questions until he stumbled upon what he thought was an acceptable answer, “Housekeeping leaves at 2:00 P.M.” This is interesting, because on the day prior they had to see if our room was ready for check-in and that was at 6:00 PM, which would suggest Housekeeping was still on-site at that hour. We didn’t bother to address the inconsistency, as we understand the futility of such a pursuit. There is a cute little patio out in front of each unit (photo with the yellow chairs), but be mindful of the sliding glass door behind it. If the blinds are open, or one of the panels is missing like ours, someone walking by could easily see into the bedroom. Other Details * Nice pool and hot tub, well maintained; * Restroom in the pool area; * Pool bar was closed for our visit; * Big refrigerator freezer combo (see photo) * Found quite a bit of hair on the bathroom floor that did not come from my head. * Rug in the kitchen was stained and looks filthy, time to steam clean it or get a new one. (Photo attached) * Palm Springs International Airport is 3.6 miles away and serves about 1.6 million passengers every year, so you will not be without noise from planes flying overhead.

Beautiful unique place with lots of personality. Our rooms were spacious with kitschy decoration, super clean, service was friendly and there was a DJ at the pool on a Saturday afternoon! It was a blast to swim during that time - positive vibes in the whole place. We will be returning!

We had a truly fantastic experience at the Paloma this past weekend. I stayed there with my friends for a bachelorette trip. Before the trip I worked with Kim to get it all planned and she was wonderful. She was super thorough, quick to respond and had great suggestions. For example, we planned to watch the Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie one of the nights in the Citrus Suite. She worked with the bartender ahead of time to make a cocktail based on what Taylor Swift has said her favorite cocktail is. It was so fun and also great! Renting the citrus suite was great. We had plenty of time to play a few games, watch the movie and just hang out. The bartended (gosh I wish I remembered his name) was very funny, quick and helpful. Technology worked perfectly in there, I've had experiences at other locations where I've wasted time to get a movie working. No such issues this time. Our rooms were great. The one bedroom suite worked perfectly for a gathering spot. The full sized fridge and fairly large living room space was exactly what we needed. I found the staff onsite to be personable and helpful. The phone number they provide to text was perfect, I always got a super fast response. I have a hundred more things to compliment, like the grounds themselves, the location and the parking. Can't wait to stay again! Thanks for a great weekend.

Highly recommend staying here the staff are amazing super friendly and welcoming. The rooms super clean, the hotel is so cute and relaxing such a vibe I can’t wait to come back.

In July-August is the hot season so very few people staying here so Restaurant and bar closed down. We had fun though pretty much having the pool to ourselves. Manager and staff were polite and accommodating and room rates were very good. If you can stand the heat (100°+) this is a great little place for the price.
