Hôtel Eastin

Lobby was neat and clean. Plenty of room to sit and relax. You can make your own coffee and tea from the supplies they have. Multiple flavors of tea. Room was nicely decorated in a cowboy theme. Two comfortable, full size beds. Bathroom was small but adequate. Hot water took a few minutes to get there but was hot. Small shower, low shower head. Would definitely stay there again.

Stopped and stayed the night here during an emergency, and it became one of the best parts of the trip! It's an old building with some charming quirks, but it is leagues ahead of the nearby motels. I loved all the decor and paintings, and my husband enjoyed the breakfast and lobby downstairs.

Despite being over 100 years old, it was very clean, comfortable, and included all modern amenities like free wifi, tv, microwave & fridge, complimentary coffee, etc. Sound carries a bit inside but if you and your neighbors are respectful then a 5 star experience is easy.

The Eastin is incredibly charming and has loads of history. As long as you're mature enough to accept the few quirks of this 120 year old building you'll love it. Prices are great and the staff was super friendly!

The ‘For Sale’ sign we saw in the window upon arrival turned out to be a great indicator of the management’s level of engagement. Crossed all the T’s, dotted all the i’s, received the confirmation emails & arrived in town to find no key in the keybox and no one in the office. Took almost an hour to get a response to several phone calls, text messages & an email to be told that the.room was unavailable due to maintenance issues. Could’ve told us that anytime during the previous two weeks. See Crystle at the Super 8 and save yourself a headache.

BEDBUGS If I can give this a zero star, I absolutely would . I had to stay here this past week for work I noticed I was getting bit by bedbugs. I took a video and pictures of them and told the lady at the front desk ask for a refund and she shrugged it off and made it seem like this is completely normal. Then after she told me, she would refund me after checking my bank today she refunded me and then turned around and charged me again. I’m completely disgusted by this hotel and the lady at the front she was not professional about this whatsoever and didn’t care about the well-being of their customers and having a clean environment. I understand I’m going to hotels. You’re always taking a chance of these kind of things, but the lack of customer service and accountability. That experience is absolutely diabolical.

This place has some serious charm, loved it!

I got attacked by bedbugs all over both of my arms at this hotel. See picture. No mention of it in their reviews so I thought it was safe. Nope. The hotel is very rustic which was fine but the floors are extremely noisy.

absolutely terrible communication by hotel staff; I was told there was a code to enter the front door, then was never given the code. I called and emailed many times with no luck. I arrived and there was no lock on the front door. Room itself was nice. Communal bathrooms were fine.
