Auberge Banana Bungalow Maui

Wonderful experience and I was impressed by how generous the staff was with us when we had such a short time there. The place reminded me a lot of my uncles and aunties place in Oahu and was very comfortable. Felt like home.

It was okay, the bathrooms and showers need to be seriously cleaned. Our room at first glance was okay..until we turned the light on and then there was a huge clump of hair on the ground along with a dead roach...when we removed the sheets and pillow cases as requested the matresses and pillows are stained and gross and the pillows have an awful mildew scent the refrigerators are super dirty as well. Edit: my room was a private room with 2 beds that i shared with a family member i traveled with not a "shared room" with random travelers as the owner stated in their response.

This is a hostel so know what you are in for: shared rooms, community bathrooms and kitchen, etc. That being said, this is one of the best places I have ever stayed. All of the people here were awesome, guests and employees. The whole place is very chill, just what someone would expect on Maui. If I ever make it back to Hawaii I definitely plan on staying here and enjoying the daily tours

We had such a great stay and were very happy with everything. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and flexible, which made everything so easy and comfortable. Everyone was kind and helpful, and we truly felt taken care of. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!
