Breakfast was great

We had a wonderful stay at the Maui Coast Hotel. We stayed for five nights in late May in the Kai Tower. The property is very new, clean, well-maintained, and in a great location in Kihei. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and we loved using the pool. There is also a laundry machine on every floor, which we found very helpful during the trip. A special thank-you to Manny at reception. We ran into some unexpected travel issues during our trip, and he was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. He was friendly, patient, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we were taken care of. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Maui and highly recommend this hotel!

Cockroach in the room (1st floor) I discovered it the night before checkout, so I didn't make any specific requests to the hotel, but it is horrifying to think that the cockroach must have been wreaking havoc in the room while we were away. Considering the price is nearly 400,000 won per night, I am against spending that money for this kind of experience. Update) When I raised the issue pop-up during checkout, they apologized and responded appropriately. / I felt this part was good in terms of service, so I have updated my rating.

Staff is exceptional. Amenities go above and beyond. Been to oahu, big island and now maui. Definitely best hotel yet.

Excellent property and truly outstanding service. During check-in, the front desk staff were polished, genuinely friendly, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The refreshing cool towels were especially appreciated after traveling, and the clear, thoughtful instructions made settling in easy and stress-free for first-time guests. When we arrived at our room in Kai Tower, everything felt spotless, fresh, and inviting. The room temperature had already been set perfectly, creating an immediate sense of comfort. We also appreciated the chilled water bottles and the thoughtful welcome gift bag waiting in each room. The hotel features a beautiful pool, relaxing jacuzzi, well-equipped fitness center, and a convenient attached restaurant. We also enjoyed a delicious brunch at the nearby Kihei Café, which had a lively and welcoming atmosphere. The location is ideal if you want to try beginner surfing. The surf shops are only about a 10–12 minute walk away, and the hotel also offers a convenient shuttle service within a 3-mile radius, making it easy to explore the area without hassle. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at this property. The combination of warm hospitality, comfort, and convenience made the experience especially memorable, and we are already planning to return to Maui and stay here again.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff. Perfect location to walk to the beach. It's a beautiful property with complimentary bikes, beach chairs, etc. There's a gym, & the pool area is so relaxing. Look forward to returning!
