Hôtel Madison

I stayed at this hotel until May 26th, 2026. After checking out, I realized I had left the item in the picture behind in my room. When I called the hotel, they found it for me right away. They informed me that if I purchased and sent them a shipping label, they would pack and ship it back to me. As soon as I emailed the shipping label, they packed my item securely and sent it out that very day. While returning lost items can be a hassle for busy staff, every single employee I interacted with handled the situation quickly and flawlessly. I was deeply touched by their professionalism. Next time I visit Memphis, I am definitely booking this hotel again!

Stayed here start of May 2026, first impressions were ok very basic, room size was good for my group. Went to rooftop on arrival to check it out wasnt very impressed but the view was lovely. Left for 2 nights to go to Nashville came back and went home the next day to receive a bill of £98 that apparently us as a group of 4 had ordered room service of 3 cocktails from the rooftop bar on the same night we were in Nashville, I did raise a dispute and myself and my bank have had no reply, was very expensive 3 cocktails but none the less was not myself that ordered them unfortunately,so this was very disappointing, breakfast staff were amazing. Not sure if would return to this hotel.

Check in was not smooth. Arrive at 3:05, waited until 4:15.

This hotel is nicely located in the downtown core of Memphis. Very walkable to most attractions, close to the river if you're cruising. Surrounded by good restaurants and close to Beale St. And if you're lucky, as we were, you will get to meet Eboni at the front desk! She is charming, helpful and a delight to chat with. Enjoy Memphis!

Stayed here 6th-8th May 2026. Hotel was dated but clean. On return home $277 had been taken from my credit card (even though room had been pre-paid). I received an email after contacting the hotel stating it was for incidental fees, but to date no one has contacted me to say what these incidental fees are. Poor customer service after taking your money, and not replying to emails. Well worth asking about incidental fees when booking as nothing was ever mentioned prior to leaving the hotel.

Room was nice. No coffee or microwave. Very pet friendly. Had our dog with us on the 6th. Everybody was very nice and friendly.

Love the decor. They have a really nice bar on the top floor with a great view of the sunset and great drinks. Delicious breakfast buffet and excellent location within walking distance of downtown.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, location is great for walking downtown to Beale Street, enjoyed the rooftop bar, room was comfortable but definitely dated and in need of a revamp

Not very kind or helpful staff. I also left an item behind after my stay which I realized a couple hours after leaving and when I called to attempt to retrieve it, they were not very unhelpful. Never found they said which I know I left it there. Leaving things behind in a hotel is part of it I get it but usually hotels will at least try to help you retrieve them as that happens. Bare bones hospitality

The room was fine, breakfast was good and it was a pleasant stay. The standout at this hotel is a young lady named Diamond at the front desk. She was very pleasant and accommodating and always went out of her way to enhance my stay. She seemed to be doing everything, she deserves some praise and a raise!

This place is so gross. NO AC, smells terrible, don’t stay here. We walked out paid and all. Willing to spend the extra money to book another hotel. MOLD in shower. Felt so uneasy. DONT BOOK HERE!!!
