Hôtel 1110

Had wonderful two night stay. Hotel is right across the street from the beach and close to everything. Breakfast and the rooftop restaurant were phenomenal. Definitely coming back.

Brandy is the most exceptional server ever. She was so knowledgeable referring the most incredible things on the menu and made our date night incredible. I dunno how much she gets paid but however much it is, she deserves more. Thank you!

The restaurant was the most horrible customer experience. I’ve never been treated so poorly by the “owner” who manned the front desk. He was incorrect about our reservation, and instead owning the mistake and taking us to our table, we were told to leave. True male ego at work. We were simply trying to spend money at your restaurant with a party of 8. Spend your money elsewhere.

This place is awesome. Very cool aesthetic. Breakfast (that's free) is some of the best food we've had on this trip. The pancakes and tacos are 10/10. You're like a 5 minute walk to the beach. When we come back to Monterey we will stay here again. The hotel manager (I don't remember his name) is a really good guy, very helpful.

Do NOT stay here. We booked this for a two-night stay through Airbnb at $300 per night, believing it was a 4-star hotel — it is not. It is a 2-star hotel with a very high opinion of itself. 1. The bathroom toilet takes 15 minutes to refill after flushing. We became so frustrated that we resorted to manually filling it with water from the sink. 2. The listing specifically advertised a jacuzzi in the bathroom. It is out of order. It is just a standard shower and tub. 3. The furniture is extremely old. The glass cabinet is cracked and peeling in multiple places — a genuine safety hazard. The bed is oversized for the room, making it feel uncomfortably cramped and claustrophobic. 4. The walls are poorly patched and have visible holes and cracks throughout. To make matters worse, we spotted a cockroach emerging from the wall. 5. The rooftop bar staff are polite, but the hotel staff are curt and unhelpful. Our reservation included breakfast, with the earliest seating at 8:00 AM. We had a hike scheduled before then and asked if we could take the food to go. The response was simply, “No breakfast for you.” The following morning, we discovered the breakfast comes with numerous restrictions: no substitutions for dietary needs, and any modifications cost extra. The portions were so small that we had to eat a second breakfast elsewhere. What is the point of offering this at all? For $300 per night, this was a deeply disappointing experience. You are far better off booking a Marriott or Hilton.

Changing hotels from pacific grove to something closer to the aquarium was the best decision ever. It was a little chilly and rainy my first night so the tub with the jets was perfect! Very low key, personable and unique. If you like big box hotels, that’s nice, but you are missing one charming overall experience. Not having kids around me was a big bonus for a solo traveler in a family oriented tourist city.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Hotel 1110. Tony went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast (included with upper level rooms) was delicious. Great location, we walked to Cannery Row, the aquarium, old town and the coastal trail was right across the road.

Beautiful hotel with awesome customer service. We used to live in Monterey went Back for our anniversary And found this hotel. The rooms were clean the hotel Was so lovely. The homemade food was awesome. Hidden gem in Monterey California.

This was our second stay at Hotel 1110, and we are so glad we returned. The reception is consistently welcoming; specifically, Tony, who is incredibly helpful and multi-talented. He manages the breakfast service alongside the cook, serving up delicious, homemade-on-site meals. The orange marmalade over the hot popovers was a standout! The location on Del Monte Avenue is optimal for exploring Monterey. It’s an easy walk to the marina and downtown area, or a very quick Uber ride. We also highly recommend the rooftop bar—the views are beautiful and it's such a great spot for a drink. It was the perfect home base for our trip to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am! As an adults-only boutique hotel, it offers a peaceful atmosphere that's perfect for a getaway. We loved our stay and will certainly be back!

Love this place. Bar is epic too.
