While I did not end up staying at this hotel due to a family matter, the staff I spoke with were helpful, kind, and understanding. They made every effort to accommodate me and my situation and I would highly recommend booking directly through the hotel when planning a stay here. I am looking forward to staying here on my next trip down to Monterey!
I stayed here & they give out rooms with leaks
Charming simplicity. Clean and comfortable. I spent the night here before a conference and got friendly and professional service. Breakfast was delicious.
Well, this review is long overdue. As they say life happens😉 We can not say enough about Hotel 1110 but we will try anyway.. It’s a small boutique hotel that use to be a hostile years ago, right across the street from the beach and only a half mile to the wharf or a fifteen minute drive to Carmel/Pebble Beach and 40 minute drive to Big Sur. You can’t beat the location. Also, there’s parking on the street since it’s more of a neighborhood. So there’s no parking fees. The breakfast is by far the best complimentary breakfast that we’ve had. The room that we’ve stayed in (twice) is small but my wife and I travel light. And after spending all day out, all we need is a bed to sleep. Oh, btw the jacuzzi tub is a great addition after being on your feet all day for a good nights sleep. We also love the rooftop bar/restaurant. The food was on point and the view is great. However, one of the main highlights for us is that it’s family owned and run, by a father and son. These two gentlemen are the reason why we’ve returned for another trip and will return again. Their hospitality is second to none. So, you have a great location, great food, great complimentary breakfast and great hosts. What more do you need? We will be back!!! See ya soon guys!
Unreal that the restaurant is still so unknown. Jaw dropping views of the bay.
Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while!! From the moment you arrive this hotel is charming and gives every vibe of a cute vintage BNB. Tony at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful! We booked room 308 which was the perfect size for a one night stay! Rooms were incredibly clean and the best part was the made to order fresh breakfast in the morning! Thanks for a wonderful stay on highway one! Will definitely be back to this charming hotel!
What a charming boutique hotel in a really cool historic building! The complimentary breakfast is delicious, and it’s so nice to be able to sit down and order from the menu. Everything we had was perfect. The rooftop lounge has an amazing view of the ocean and the sunset view was gorgeous. We had scrumptious food and drinks. This is a must do if you stay here! We made a reservation online about a week before, and it was easy. The gentleman who took care of us was very kind. He was a wealth of information and knowledge. We really enjoyed our stay, and the gracious hospitality of the hotel. There’s an option to pay for the limited parking behind the hotel. It worked out well for us and it was reserved for our entire stay. They go the extra mile for their guests! I brought a small white noise sound machine that made for a great night’s sleep. The road noise might be a bit loud for some. I always bring a white noise machine when I travel, just in case. It worked perfectly! The rooms are small, but this is an historic building. They’ve been renovated and they’re really beautiful. If you like historical architecture, you’ll love it here! It’s also a great spot if you want to be downtown, and so close to the ocean. You’re also greeted by the fabulous lady in red!
