Tennessee Equality Project

The Tennessee Equality Project is a statewide LGBTQ+ advocacy organization based in Nashville. Its work is mostly political: tracking and lobbying on bills at the Tennessee General Assembly, organizing constituents to contact legislators, and building local committees in cities around the state. A separate foundation arm handles education and community programs. This is not a drop-in center or a social venue. For a visitor it is mainly useful as a source of current information on state law and on local organizing; updates and action alerts are posted on tnep.org.
