Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Greensboro Wendover

Overall it is sort of what I expected. Nice staff, clean lobby. Cheap but clean rooms and bedding. I think the 2 star vs 3 star Marriott is a difference that is discernible but the price was good for us given we were barely in the room. But it you want to be at the hotel a fair amount - pay an extra 60 bucks and go to the 3 star brands.

Not exactly close to the airport but easy to get to with a rental. very clean and friendly staff

Average, clean and good customer service

When we arrived the front desk wasn't very helpful. Barely spoke. The front desk was a bit better the following day. The BED was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep on. I called and asked for something different, even a roll away. They brought me 1 pillow and a blanket. I ended up SLEEPING IN THE CARin for 2 night. I've never had a bed so terrible. I would sit on the side of the bed and I would slide straight off. Breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly.

Very kind front desk. They were very good about having everything ready for me. I also really appreciated that they did fun things like have my towels arranged like swans. I attached a picture of it. It’s when people go the extra mile that really impresses me.

Clean, modern, and fresh. Easy access to local restaurants and stores, and about 12 minutes from UNC Greensboro campus. Breakfast is hot and plentiful and we were thrilled to have non-sugar options such as plain oatmeal and plain nonfat yogurt. The only downside to breakfast was that they cleared all the coffee promptly at 10am and there was only one pump pot left for the remainder of the stay (would have loved more options, such as decaf, or coffee that was freshly brewed and therefore hot). The front desk clerk, James, is by far one of the most friendly people we've ever encountered at a hotel and was delightful to work with. A bit higher priced than some of the other hotels in the area but we found it worth it.

Perfect for what we are doing

The room above me was running and stomping on the floor for about 6 hours straight (til 2am). The front desk employee (James) refused to do anything, and even cursed at me, so I had to call the police. The employee didn't care at all about the situation and made that clear to his midnight replacement employee and the police when they arrrived.

Traveling to Atlanta we stopped here overnight. Check in was super easy and the staff member was super courteous. Very quiet. Clean rooms. Pretty easy off and on from the highway. Lots of things around, Sheetz right across the street. Little breakfast buffet, mostly prewrapped items, good for a quick grab and go. Plenty of parking. Overall a good location and what you would expect from Fairfield Inns.
