À propos de ce lieu Porches on the Towpath

Porches on the Towpath est un hôtel gay-friendly à New Hope, Pennsylvania.

This place is an absolute gem. It made my work trip feel like a vacation! Porches' location is lovely; it's within walking distance of tons of great restaurants, bars, and shops. But, nice as that is, I enjoyed my time at the B&B itself even more than I did while walking around. The room I had was small but beautifully appointed, the garden was lovely, and sitting on the porch was deeply relaxing. I only had time to have breakfast once in my three-night stay, and it was genuinely lovely. The staff were very kind, too, and let me work from the porch for hours after check-out and before my late flight home. I can't recommend this place enough!

We stayed May 18-21, 2026, in spacious room 5 and absolutely loved our stay! Highlights: Lisa and Bob were charming and took care of us so well. Breakfasts were amazing and delicious--homemade yogurt and granola, watermelon and feta, homemade muffins, egg dishes, coffee was excellent. As for the room, the bed was firm but not too firm as were the pillows; soft sheets; GREAT AC on extremely hot days; fabulous water pressure in the shower; quiet and relaxing--we took baths in the wonderful claw-foot tub each night. There were baked goods/coffee/tea available all day, and big glass bottles of cold water, too. The place was charming and beautifully decorated. The gardens were exquisite. We loved it all and will be back! Thank you, Lisa and Bob and staff.

Hidden gem surrounded by lush gardens with phenomenal hosts and steps away from town. I had the pleasure of staying here for a solo weekend trip in room #1. The check-in process was seamless and Bob graciously carried by bags to my room. Room #1 was lovely. It is a first floor room with 2 entrances (one through the dining area and one to a private porch with direct access to the towpath). Furnished with beautiful pieces (I loved the mirrored armoire), the room invited coziness and relaxation. There were a variety of interesting reads as well that I enjoyed. The property itself boasts lush gardens with a multiple alcoves and spaces for either socializing or a private space. Lisa prepared the most delightful breakfasts including fresh fruit, "egg flowers," homemade granola with yogurt, overnight oats, sausage, savory casseroles, hot coffee, and more. Coupled with the amazing service from Bob, the breakfast is worth coming back for itself alone. Porches is located steps away from the towpath, inviting strolls throughout the day. This location is optimal for the easy accessibility to New Hope (literally steps away) while feeling feeling remote and like you are "getting away from it all" due to the beautiful garden setup. I have most certainly found my go-to spot in New Hope and look forward to staying in other rooms upon my next visit at Porches!
