Room was absolutely beautiful. Staff wasn’t very friendly & hospitality was basically nonexistent. I didn’t feel welcome at all. Wasn’t impressed at all & wont be returning for a stay.

Cheated me out of $140 USD. Reserved the room for $559.25 USD (screenshot attached from confirmation email). However, Hotel St. Pierre charged my credit card $700.74 USD (screenshot attached from online credit card statement). Attempted to sort this out directly with Hotel St. Pierre as per instructed by credit card company but never got a good answer. Eventually phone calls and emails were not returned by Hotel St. Pierre. By time I gave up on chasing Hotel St. Pierre, the credit card dispute period ended and I am out the money.

This was the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in and me and friend had a wonderful time going to the French quarter! Tyler who is one of the front desk agents was so amazing and kind! My cat ended up getting stuck in the box spring and he came and helped us get her out. Will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in New Orleans!

Check in process was fairly easy. Our room is exactly what we expected. We paid for the birthday surprise (an extra $30) which was one of the biggest reasons we chose this hotel as we were spending my son's birthday in New Orleans and it It wasn't in the room. When I asked the front desk staff about it, he didn't have any answers nor did he seem to care. I asked if it could be done while we were gone to dinner and he said he knew nothing about it and they do that stuff in the morning. I think a wet noodle had more personality and he was just a warm body clicking a keyboard. He said he would put in a note to have them refund my money. When I checked out in the morning, the staff was much friendlier, but I asked about the refund and they didn't see it noted. I had to tell them what happened and they made it right. Having staff that knows nothing about the property, how things work, who does what or even caring enough to try and fix an issue is not a good look for a business.

Ok, so listen: I really wanted to like this place. It seemingly had everything I was hoping for, meaning a deluxe room and at least one swimming pool. Sadly, though, it’s just kind of second-rate. And it’s not just because it’s an old building in the French Quarter. I was willing to forgive so much, because I love this city, and because the people at the front desk were genuinely helpful. What sinks this place, though, is the shoddy conditions of the room itself. For instance: - The king mattress was all misshapen. It felt like I was sliding off a cliff on my side. - The room smelled funny, like a dollar store axe body spray. - In this deluxe room, which was allegedly the best they had to offer, there were no lamps! It was just the harsh overhead lighting, and in the suite, the closet light and the bonus room light switches didn’t even work. So then you get to noticing other small things. The refrigerator wasn’t actually cold, despite how loud it was. The bedding wasn’t totally clean. The bathroom looked like one from HGTV where they would say “this bathroom definitely needs updating.” Neither here nor there, but this felt like the perfect place for the obscure TV series “Hotel Impossible.” It really is just a victim of Its own low standards.
