One of the greener and more heavily forested areas of Central Park, which can give this northerly portion a spookier vibe, especially when it’s dark or foggy

The Ramble – Central Park A place where you almost forget you're in the heart of Manhattan. Amidst lush greenery, babbling brooks, rocks, enchanting paths, and rustic bridges, the city's noise suddenly disappears behind the trees. This feeling is precisely what makes The Ramble one of the most beautiful and special places in Central Park for me. You don't just walk along a path – you discover it. A new perspective awaits around every bend, and for a moment, it feels more like a forest somewhere far outside of New York than a metropolis. The combination of wild nature and the park's artful design is particularly beautiful. The Ramble was intentionally created to resemble a natural wilderness – and it still achieves this impressively well. For me, it's an absolute highlight of Central Park. Anyone visiting New York who wants to escape the hustle and bustle should make time for The Ramble. Don't just look – simply wander and soak up the atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Large wooded subsection within central park, tons of walking paths all over and the river curving through it really adds to the magic, lots of raccoons everywhere too!

The Ramble is the ultimate paradise on earth for nature lovers and tranquility in Central Park. This lush, forested area with its winding paths, streams and wooden bridges makes you instantly forget that you are in the heart of Manhattan. It is the top spot in the park for birdwatching and the ideal destination to get lost in the greenery, listen to the chirping of birds and enjoy a truly refreshing escape from the rhythm of the city!

It's a good place to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. It's known on relevant websites, but I haven't found anything good for "relaxing" myself.
