A hotel that allows women to be harassed and assaulted is truly a dangerous place. During our stay, a woman was subjected to yelling, insults, intimidation, and physical aggression. Someone held the door to prevent her from leaving and then slammed it into her. What was even more concerning was the hotel’s response: they did nothing to protect the victim, defended the aggressor, and offered no support whatsoever. Protecting an aggressor makes them complicit in the situation. On top of that, the communication among the staff is terrible. If one employee tells a guest that they are allowed to park in a certain spot, why does another employee later come to insult and physically confront that person for doing exactly what they were told? The lack of safety, proper protocols, and basic guarantees for guests makes staying at this hotel a serious risk. I would not recommend this hotel to any woman or to anyone expecting a safe environment and respectful treatment.

Today something really strong and very unpleasant happened to me at this hotel. I’m a delivery driver, and I went to pick up an order from a store inside the hotel. A security guard told me where to go and allowed me to park there while I picked up the order. When I got back to my car, a valet employee started yelling at me very loudly about where I was parked. While I was sitting inside my vehicle, he held the door very strongly, and even though I was trying to close it, he wouldn’t let me while he kept yelling very loudly at me. Then he slammed the door shut very hard. At that moment I felt scared, intimidated, and unsafe. I tried to take out my phone to record or take a photo, but I only managed to take one where you can barely see a little bit. After that, he came over to the other side of the car and seemed like he wanted to keep yelling at me, so I left immediately because I was very scared and I wasn’t able to respond to him at all. I called my boyfriend crying and I couldn’t even speak because I felt so affected by the situation. About 40 minutes later, I went back to the hotel with my boyfriend to report what happened, and they told us we had to contact the valet company directly and that they couldn’t do anything. I also asked them to check the security cameras since I’m almost sure the incident could have been recorded, but they didn’t do anything or offer any help. I explained that, directly or indirectly, a situation like this also affects the experience and safety of the people who visit the hotel. I asked if they could at least tell me the employee’s name so I could report him, and they told me they didn’t know it either. I was really disappointed with how the situation was handled. No one should feel intimidated or unsafe while simply working. I felt very vulnerable and very affected by what happened, and I hope situations like this don’t happen again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was great. The location was perfect as everything was in walking distance. The handicap shower for my wheelchair bound father in law was the best I’ve seen. The staff was incredible. Gregory the bellman at check was friendly and informative. Shannon at front desk was very helpful and friendly throughout stay. Leroy in the lobby was great to converse with. Lola our housekeeper was great and took care of anything we needed. At breakfast Tiffany and Kristy were awesome and friendly. Krist remembered what we were drinking and was great to converse with.

This might be one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in, in a long time. The exterior of the hotel looks very promising, it looks modern and clean. The rooms are the complete opposite. We were upgraded due to Ambassador status and it is concerning to think about what the other room looked like. This room was small, VERY dated and didn’t look clean or kept up. There was a layer of dust on the alarm clock and around the lamps. Some of the sheets had yellowed and some were still white so it made the gross ones stand out more. The windows were so filthy with bird poop that one could not see clearly out of them. When one opens the room door, the lock pops out so the door doesn’t auto close. You need to fight with it to get the lock to go back in so the door can close. Housekeeping saw us fighting w the door and said they had put in several requests to get it fixed, to no avail. The existing pillows were so bad, misshapen, and flat that we mentioned the issues to the front desk and they sent additional pillows. Of the ones they brought, only one was usable. The grossest was the bathtub. They are having some serious drain issues and the sink, toilet and bathtub were not draining, so you’re showering in water that has backed up from the drain. You need to wait 20-30 minutes between different people showering so the tub doesn’t overflow. Positive: -Breakfast was a positive. The continental buffet was solid. They had fruit, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal and different breads. The hot food varies depending on how late you go to breakfast (how long has it been sitting out - they don’t refresh it often). -location: it’s in a pretty good location with easy access to restaurants. - conference area is fairly nice and clean. All in all, if we were offered a free week, I still wouldn’t stay there.
