AC Hotel Portland Downtown/Waterfront

Just a nice Hotel. Not sure how they get the cost of almost $700 a night. But all of Downtown Hotel rooms are the same cost or more.

I really like the AC brand, have stayed in them many times in various cities. Everything was clean and convenient. Really like the hydration stations, room layouts, eco amenities. The mattress here left a bit to be desired. Basically filled sacks on a platform. The sacks could use more filling for firmness as they still are prone to sag. Only other complaint was the vibration from HVAC system. Can "feel the buzz" even from other rooms. Great location, very walkable. I could see the water from my room. But the SERVICE is truly excellent! Big shout out to ABBY. Super nice, informative, personable yet professional, she is a star!

We stay here at least once a month . I am titanium. Coming for our 39 th anniversary. Asked for the early check in at 1 pm . I know the Bonvoy app shows you want you want to see, so we got here at 1 pm . They said if the room opens up by 3 pm we will call you . I checked via phone at 2 pm no room , that’s fine . Went up to desk at 3 pm and I was yelled at by some guy who clearly works here calling me rude and disrespectful. Wow ! The front desk manager apologized gave us 150 credit . Just a horrible check in experience. Almost went home . I know there short staffed I know it’s busy . I have stayed 67 nights in Marriott’s this year . Don’t think I will be back here again .

The room was dirty, the employee that “welcomed us” I think her name was Rebecca maybe Rebecca Holden was the rudest customer service I’ve ever experienced. I honestly like Hilton overall but it’s these entitled youngsters with zero work ethics or hospitality skills that just can’t stand. “If you don’t like the vibe here you can find a different hotel” Who talks like that at a high end hotel?

There is almost no noise insulation at the room door. You can hear everything going on in the hall and other rooms. For the price, I should not be able to hear people in other rooms putting the toilet seat down. The rim itself is very nice, and the staff was very kind and friendly.

Great location as a hub for discovering the Portland area. Great rooms and very friendly staff.

We were thrilled to have the AC Hotel in Portland serve as our wedding block of hotel rooms for our daughter’s wedding at the end of July (the busiest week of the summer). As we planned the wedding block, Abby and the AC communicated quickly and efficiently with helpful guidance. Given how busy this time of year is in Portland, we (and our guests) were grateful for the price adjustment and guaranteed rooms available. The rooms were attractive and clean with suites being extra special. Throughout our stay the staff members were great - friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. A Farewell Sunday brunch at the hotel was a big success. The food was excellent, room convenient and comfortable, and again, staff super. I only heard positives from our family and friends about their stays this weekend

Seems brand new, nice sized modern rooms, stand up shower, very nice workout room. Has a nice breakfast but you have to pay. Short walk to the wharf area and restaurants.

My son and I were here for a vacation. We wanted to go somewhere different so we planned for this about a year and a half ago. When I got us checked in and we went to the room. He was amazed by the room and after we've done our looking around and eating he fell asleep on his Queen sized bed for about 16 hours literally. Now he wants a queen sized bed for his room...lol. The views and the room were amazing. Everything was in walking distance if we wanted to walk. He absolutely loved the rain shower feature. We had a great time there and if and when we come back, we will definitely come back here. I definitely recommend this hotel.
