We loved this place. It’s hard to find food to please the 10 and 12 year old but this place was perfect!

The menu doesn't look like much but the food is delicious. Even our two teen kids, who couldn't understand much of what was on the menu, said it was great. We did have to wait a while to be served. There's a very casual vibe in this place but the servers are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable on what's in the food and what to order.

Worth visiting Portland for. Just amazing tasty food that is fresh and served with a smile. The restaurant is very small and welcoming. I honestly can't praise it enough. If we were in town another day I would make a return visit. My wife and I left so happy having been disappointed with so many of the other Portland tourist traps. It is also very good value.

Cross Japanese street food with the Portland Foodie experience and you get Mami. The pickled veggies clearly were done with great care. We got the poke, gyudon, and yaki onigiri. All were super flavorful and well executed. Only wish the poke had a bit more salmon!
