Le Frannie Peabody Center est la plus grande organisation communautaire de services VIH/SIDA du sud du Maine, basée au 30 Danforth Street à Portland. Nommé d'après la philanthrope de Portland Frannie Peabody, il propose des tests gratuits de dépistage du VIH et des IST, la navigation PrEP, la gestion de cas et un soutien au logement pour les personnes vivant avec le VIH dans toute la région.

Lonely and living with HIV, well too bad. I'm sure they do good work, however, I was ignored. I contacted the center to ask for men's support groups. I explained that I am lonely and was looking for someone for a life partner. I was told in an email that there was nothing like that, but if they start something they would let me know. I contacted Gay Ogunquit in November of 2018. I was given the phone number for Katie R. who worked for the center at that time. I left two voicemails for her over a 2 weeks span, but she did not return my call. Loneliness among men with HIV doesn't seem to be a concern for Frannie Peabody.
