Beach View Hotel

Great hotel that is so very close to the beach. It’s clean, friendly staff, hot cookies, fresh breakfast and free beach chairs and towels to borrow on my stay. I’ve been going a few years now and it’s been a wonderful part of my trip.

What a Charming spot! Beach View Hotel really lives up to its name - just steps from the sand and close to everything you could want when vacationing at the beach - restaurants, shops, and the boardwalk. We visit in the fall when the crowds are lighter, the arcades are closed, and there are more dogs than kids - absolutely perfect for us. The hotel offers a typical but satisfying breakfast, coffee in both the lobby and rooms, wine and cheese at 5 PM, and warm cookies at 8 PM - such a nice touch after a beach walk. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, shower is hot, towels fluffy. Since we don't come to Rehoboth to hang out in the room, convenience and comfort are what matter most - and Beach View delivers both beautifully.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this place. From the wonderful staff, to the delicious breakfast. Wine & cheese social & the cookies before bed. Those little things make this truly a special experience. The rooms were very clean, bed was super comfortable and with walking distance to shopping, food & the beach it made my birthday so memorable. My husband and I agree we will be back & we have already been telling everyone we know what a great place this is. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Just returned home after a two night stay with my family at Beach View Hotel - an older independent hotel that has been lovingly maintained and updated. My room was spotless upon arrival, with no strange odors or weird humidity levels you sometimes find in hotel rooms. The beds were comfortable. The linens and towels were good quality. The staff were all friendly, helpful, efficient, and accommodating above and beyond the norm. Nice little perks like onsite parking, beach chairs you can check out, free breakfast, wine and cheese in the afternoon, fresh baked cookies at 8pm, and an elevator. The location couldn't have been any better - about 1 block walk to the boardwalk and the beach. Plenty of dining and shopping options within short walking distance. I was very impressed with the whole experience, and would certainly recommend this great hotel for a stay in Rehoboth Beach.

Quaint motel, 1/2 block from the boardwalk, clean, free breakfast, free cookies at 8pm. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, they are amazing from beginning to end. Melissa the general manager was extremely helpful and accommodating, you can tell she is good to her team - they were truly all lovely and make it an experience to stay with them! They are literally like 100 ft to the beach, with super clean rooms, housekeeping came daily (which many hotels don't offer anymore). I couldnt say enough nice things about this property! We will be returning! We love you can borrow beach chairs and towels - great added amenity. It started with a great check in by Len who was there several other times as well. She was lovely to us. We also love Cassandra at the desk, all the staff was super accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was so nice to have, as well as happy hour and my little ones loved the cookies in the evening!

On a more serious note, it is the same property with the view of Gus & Gus, the one with the tasteless quiche and our misspelled (real) name on the board behind check in. You were made aware of our problem, you made no attempt to apologize or make right on a future visit so there won't be one. Original: Great location, not so great management. We won't be returning to this place because of how they resolve issues. Hint: Customer is always wrong, and they cannot be bothered to make things right.

Everything on the hotel was great. Making reservations online was simple and easy, and you could easily pick the room type and number of people when reserving a room. I just had a couple of nitpicks that I'll get into in a bit. The location is perfect! Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Loved the touch of wine and cheese 5pm and the warm cookies at 8pm. Had a room at the pool level. Washer and dryer onsite. $1 each in quarters. Bring your own quarters and detergent yourself though in advance of your trip, as I have read in prior reviews that the front desk doesn't carry detergent or have change. Expect to pay $2 for the dryer for 2 cycles though since they won't be completely dry after 1 cycle. Here are my nitpicks. Parking is painful. I feel like there aren't enough spaces. And if you have to park in the garage area, it's TIGHT. But the good thing is parking is free for guests. WiFi is spotty at best. I brought this up to the desk but felt like nothing got done and that's just the way it is. I just said forget it and used my 5G. If they ever fix this issue it would definitely up my rating. If you have to do work, connect to your phone's mobile hotspot or bring your own mobile hotspot. Sliding doors to the balcony are a bear to open. You need brute strength. I asked several times to get it fixed but I don't think anything can get done without having to take the entire sliding door off the track to fix it. Edit. It finally got fixed right before we checked out, so that's good. Breakfast is adequate for what they have. We didn't plan on having it anyway as we went out each day but it's still a nice touch. This one issue is not the hotel's fault but this is an FYI for the other guests. If you're doing laundry,.PLEASE be vigilant about putting your clothes in the dryer and then taking them away! Some idiot left their clothes in the washer all day. Totally inconsiderate. This isn't a college dorm! I had to throw their clothes out of the washer to do my own laundry! Other that that, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
