Hôtel Zephyr

We were happy of our hotel choice. This hotel is very convenient. On the heart of the Fisherman's Wharf with direct access to all attractions. Parking and transportation readily available. 4minutes walk to Trader Joe!!

+ great location - right by fisherman's wharf + walking distance to the F tram that takes you to market st/convention center. Ghirardelli, hyde st trolley and alcatraz landing are 10 min walking distance. + rooms very clean - house keeping staff did a great job + entertainment room stocked with lots of fun stuff which is great if you travel as a family + decent shower pressure and temperature - thin walls - could hear people walking upstairs early in the morning - lobby looks great, but room halls look worn out and dated - front desk staff seemed uninterested Smoke alarm went off on one of the nights at 1am. We weren't sure if it was a real fire or a false alarm and ended up evacuating the building. While it turned out to be a false alarm, no clear communication from staff on what to do next and if it was safe to return to the rooms. This alone marred an otherwise decent experience. I can't imagine how bad it would have been if there was a real fire problem.

We had a great stay at Hotel Zephyr! The location is ideal if you want to be in a central location for all activities stretching from Ghirardelli east to the Ferry Building. Perfect access to the Ferris wheel and Pier 39, Big Bus tours, a 7/11, city buses and trolleys. The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The fire pits and game room were fun for my child traveling along. Although the bones of the building are older and you can tell that some of the paint on the renovations have not held up the room was clean and the AC unit and fridge worked well.

It was clean, however we paid for parking 65,paid 425 room ,but no TV,no parking,not even tooth brush a small blankets I'll be staying at Hilton so worth it

Hotel is right off of pier 39. Very kid friendly woth game room and outside games. Service was amazing.

We took our trip here and we have the balcony is beautiful and we are less than a mile away from pier 39
