Swann House B&B

We recently stayed there for a wedding weekend. Everything was great! Such a nice place to stay in such a cool area! Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful place to stay! The house is stunning and the staff were so nice and accommodating! Location is perfect, whichever way you walk there are great coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. 10/10 would recommend to anyone staying in DC!

A huge thank you to Christine and her team at the Swann House for making our wedding weekend so special. Having our families stay there—and hosting our welcome party in such a beautiful space—made everything feel even more meaningful. The Fathom Group team did an amazing job, and Christine and her team made sure our entire stay felt relaxed, easy, and genuinely fun. Every detail was taken care of so thoughtfully. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how stunning the house is, and each room has its own cool, unique character that made the whole experience feel one of a kind. This is a beautifully restored home. I stayed in Room 9, which has an incredible huge bathtub and luxurious shower. The bed was very comfortable. The house has a lot of nice places to sit and has a peaceful energy with thoughtful touches throughout. It’s in a great neighborhood with lots of good restaurants within a few minutes walking! The breakfast spread was diverse (the homemade apple sauce was a delight!) and the minorities are stocked with complimentary drinks. I really enjoyed my stay here and it’s obvious that the owners take great care of this home.

We stayed at Swann House in Washington, DC for my daughter’s wedding, and it was exceptional. As mother of the bride, I truly appreciated the warm, attentive hospitality during such an important weekend. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and charming, and the staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Their kindness and attention to detail made a meaningful difference for our family. I highly recommend Swann House, especially for special occasions—we’ll always remember our stay with gratitude. Truly lovely B&B, gorgeous rooms, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and lovely areas to hang out. I swam in the pool and went on morning walks in the neighborhood and biked around too. Super beautiful if you want a homey feel. I upgraded to the suite room and it was so worth it.

Swann house was wonderful! Stayed in room 5, which has two rooms. The made up the daybed and bright up a roller bed, which made the rooms perfect for our family of four (two young kids). The went out of their way to make our stay comfortable—setting it up firstly, then giving us yogurts and granola for the kids so they could eat in the room earlier than the buffet breakfast. Breakfast was very good and the dining room was lovely. Neighborhood is adorable and location is convenient—easy access to busses and the subway and great food. And you can pay for parking on-site. And they have a cute pool in an adorable courtyard. We would 100% stay there again! Thank you Christina and Sabeen for a wonderful stay.

Everything about our stay was amazing. Christine the owner was so welcoming, and her breakfast was such a great way to start the day. The location was perfect for where we needed to be, and the rooms and history of the house were so special. Can't wait to return!

We had such a lovely stay at the Swann House in DC. We were there for a private event, and the whole experience felt warm, intimate, and incredibly inviting. The house itself is full of charm and character, and every detail made it feel special. The pool is absolutely adorable and adds to the cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend it—truly a gem of a spot, and I’d go back in a heartbeat.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Swann House twice now, and it has become my go-to for trips to DC. From the moment you walk in, you feel the charm of this historic home. It is elegant, warm, and full of character. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, blending classic charm with modern comfort, and every detail feels intentional. No two rooms are alike! The beds are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. What truly sets Swann House apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, offering personalized recommendations and making sure every part of your stay is seamless. And the breakfast is fantastic -- fresh, delicious, home made. The perfect way to start your day. Swann House is location is tucked into a beautiful neighborhood but very walkable and easy to get to everything you wan to see in DC. After two stays, I can confidently say this is one of my favorite places to stay in Washington.

My husband surprised me with a lovely weekend getaway at the Swann House & it did not disappoint! The B&B itself is gorgeous from top to bottom. The rooms are beautiful & to top it all off, Christine could not have been a more accommodating and gracious host. Breakfast was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves all weekend. I wish I could give Swann 10 stars!! We’ll be back for sure!
