The staff is clueless

Wow. What an incredible 2 night stay at the Sunset Marquis over Memorial Day weekend. I traveled with my husband and 9 month baby and it was the absolute perfect setup for my family especially with the separate room and access to the terrace. The property is lush with tons of greenery and shade - it truly felt like an oasis! I’ve stayed in many hotels and Sunset Marquis stands out as one of the best. This a review of villa 1106. The room itself is beautifully updated and very clean. The villa has so much space and has everything that you need including a refrigerator, Nespresso machine, glasses, bathtub, shower, and lots of storage. Air conditioning worked flawlessly and was quiet. We were tucked away and in a perfect spot for baby to nap during the day and at night as it was very quiet and we didn’t hear any outside noises - thank you Brigette for finding us the perfect room. Valet is prompt. Front desk is responsive. Housekeeping was very fast with whatever you needed. Everyone we engaged with at the hotel was professional and kind. The restaurant was fast and service was great (shout out to Ava & Robin). Very accommodating for our baby. Great location with lots of dining that is walkable nearby. We are leaving feeling so rested and already thinking of our return trip. Thank you Sunset Marquis for a wonderful time!

Do not recommend a room near or over the valet section. Staff was obnoxiously loud talking/laughing as well as party buses & limos arriving with loud music throughout the night.

Love LOVE this hotel. We stayed in a newly remodeled suite and it was BEAUTIFUL! Excellent location, friendly staff and the coolest vibe in town!

Wow this hotel really wows

Oh gosh, I have SO many amazing things to say about this place but I think it’s an experience and talking too much about it will give it away. I HIGHLY recommend. Absolutely beautiful and clean rooms and the STAFF!! Every single one was so wonderful and happy. I hope to be back for a truly intimate experience. ❤️

The rooms are made for hosting- I always wish I wasn't traveling when there so I could have friends over to it! Things we love love love at the SM- the restaurant, the bar, the pools, a scale in the bathroom (how very LA!), bathrobes and slippers, the beds, the room service, the location as a Weho home base, the vibe (purely laid back) and of course, the expertly curated staff.

Unfortunately the hotel’s loud bar patrons directly outside my room’s balcony were very loud through the early hours of the morning, and the doors block very little noise, making it very difficult to sleep. A place to sleep is literally what I’m paying for, so unfortunately, I can’t recommend the Sunset Marquis. They could easily address this by putting up signage and having staff ensure that bar patrons aren’t congregating directly outside the hotel room windows. The rooms themselves were fine, several outlets didn’t work and the room had an odor. The location is good for West Hollywood, but that was about the only positive.

Classic and clean with great service!

Upon arrival the valets, bellmen are totally on point. We were greeted by Josh at the front desk. Friendly, calm, totally professional, knowledgeable of the vicinity and locations for any of the things we asked about. Excellent overall service from Josh.
