South Beach shops are a mix. It's a gay destination, but also just a tourist spot. So you get swimwear, lifestyle stores, and LGBTQ-specific shops, all within a short walk of the main bars. It's all about beach and party culture. Don't expect many bookshops or leather specialists here.
Swimwear and beach stuff
This is a beach town first. The shops show it. You'll find a few swimwear places selling the brief, revealing, branded trunks everyone wears at South Beach pool parties and on the gay beach. Some carry international brands; others are smaller. If you need something specific for a pool party or the sand, you'll find it easily here.
Pride merch and lifestyle
For big events like Winter Party and Miami Beach Pride, you'll see pop-up stalls all over South Beach. The rest of the year, several shops sell pride flags, branded items, and LGBTQ-specific stuff at different price points. Because it's such a tourist spot, quality and selection can be hit-or-miss.
Just general shopping
Lincoln Road is a pedestrianized shopping street a few blocks from the beach. It's got a decent variety of shops and is good for a broader shopping trip. More mainstream than LGBTQ-specific, but it's open-air and walkable, so it's a nice way to spend an afternoon. Collins Avenue and Washington Avenue have more shops in South Beach too.

Practical notes
