Montréal's gay scene is excellent, centered around the Village on Rue Sainte-Catherine Est. It's one of North America's best gay neighborhoods, with a sauna culture to match. Everything's packed onto one walkable strip.
Sauna Oasis
This is Montréal's highest-rated sauna. It's right in the Village on Sainte-Catherine Est, and focuses on Finnish sauna therapy. There's a rooftop terrace, steam room, dry sauna, whirlpool, private cabins, and a dark room. Look for themed nights.
Sauna G.I. Joe
Three floors here, all with a military theme. You'll find a steam room, dry sauna, hot tub, private cabins, a maze, dark room, and a relaxation area. They do military-themed nights and events all month. Google users give it 4.6 stars. It's also in the Village on Sainte-Catherine Est.
Sauna Centre-Ville
This one's downtown at 1465 Sainte-Catherine Est. It has a steam room, dry sauna, hot tub, private cabins, a maze, and themed nights. Good if you're staying in the city center. It stays open until 11pm daily.
Sauna St. Hubert
A neighborhood spot in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, this sauna has a steam room, hot tub, private cabins, and a relaxation area. It feels more local and relaxed, popular with regulars who prefer it to the Village's crowds.
Sauna Pont-Viau
This one's across the river in Laval and is the late-night option, open until 2am. There's a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, bar, dark rooms, and a sling, plus themed events. You'll need an Uber or car to get there, but if you're out after midnight, this is the place.
Montréal Gay Scene
The Village stretches along Rue Sainte-Catherine Est from Berri to Papineau. It's full of bars, clubs, restaurants, and community spaces. Divers/Cité, the Pride festival, runs late July/early August and is one of North America's best. Black & Blue in October is a huge international circuit party weekend, drawing tens of thousands.
