Past event
dolly hoe-down — Brisbane Powerhouse
About the event
A boot-stomping, joyful love letter to Dolly Parton, served with a side of country-pop chaos. Hosted by Vollie LaVont, this Melt Festival dance party brings together Dolly bangers, drag performances and a lesson from Gilly’s Line Dancing. Pull on your cowboy boots, hit the dance floor and let Dolly lead the way.
About the venue
Brisbane Powerhouse is a mainstream arts centre in a converted power station on the Brisbane River in New Farm. It runs theatre, comedy, music and food markets through the year, with bars and a restaurant on site…
“Farmers market on Saturdays events at night, food markets. Fun place” — Nicholas Staller, Google
