Goa Pride Festival

Goa Pride Festival (also known as Pride De Goa, hashtag #Pyaarkatyohar) is the state's flagship LGBTQIA+ celebration, launched in 2022 to create a safe, joyful space for India's queer community. Held around June in the bohemian North Goa belt near Anjuna, it blends a fashion show, drag performances, DJ sets and community gatherings into one of the most visible queer events on the Goan calendar. Dates shift year to year, so check the organisers' social channels closer to the time. As anywhere in India, the festival is welcoming and celebratory; away from the event itself, public displays of affection are best kept low-key.
