Midsumma é o festival de artes e cultura queer de Melbourne, realizado desde 1988 ao longo de três semanas do verão austral, em teatros, galerias, clubes e locais ao ar livre. É mais parecido com um festival de artes com uma Pride March anexada do que com um único fim de semana de desfile. Seu relatório anual de 2024-25 contou 213 eventos em 22 dias e 285.958 participações; isso conta ingressos e entradas, não pessoas únicas.
Três grandes dias moldam a programação. O Midsumma Carnival abre o festival em um domingo com um dia gratuito ao ar livre de barracas, palcos e piqueniques. A Pride March, o desfile organizado pela comunidade, acontece duas semanas depois ao longo da Fitzroy Street em St Kilda; em 2026, Midsumma listou mais de 7.000 participantes. Victoria's Pride, uma festa de rua no último domingo, encerra o festival. No meio, há cerca de 200 shows, palestras, noites de clube e exposições, uma mistura de eventos gratuitos e pagos, publicados em uma programação lançada no final de novembro. As inscrições para grupos de marcha abrem em setembro.

Midsumma diz que a programação completa será divulgada em 24 de novembro de 2026, e esse é o momento de começar a reservar.
