This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Around midnight, we were woken by a fire alarm in the room next to ours and forced to evacuate.When we left our room, several unknown men rushed out of that room and ignored our questions, which was very alarming. We were left standing outside in the cold for over 20 minutes. Staff showed no concern, offered no apology, and provided very little explanation. The next morning, reception refused to explain what had happened. The receptionist repeatedly claimed there was no manager or anyone available to handle our complaint, which later proved false. While I was visibly unwell, the receptionist shouted at me, and the staff were consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Their apparent attempts to avoid discussing the incident or taking responsibility made the situation feel even more concerning. The food quality was also poor, with some fruit appearing spoiled. After the evacuation, I felt unwell and eventually had to visit the emergency room. Despite the seriousness of this incident, the hotel has never apologized or offered a full refund. The lack of transparency and accountability regarding a late-night emergency is very concerning and, in my view, creates a potentially dangerous environment for guests. Overall, this stay raised serious concerns about safety, hygiene, and staff professionalism. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very nice and relaxing experience, though it is a pity that not all the staff in the restaurant speak a little Dutch.
