The Neon Party on March 21, 2026 was amazing, great DJ, amazing atmosphere even though it started a little late in the main hall.

I've been a regular at the Gay Pig club for over 30 years, but I find the way things have developed very problematic. I've been the target of physical assault on several occasions. I was punched in the stomach on the dance floor and, in another instance, pushed down a flight of stairs – without me being the instigator. Additionally, I've repeatedly witnessed heavily intoxicated patrons harassing others without sufficient intervention. In a recent incident, I was also approached and harassed by a drunk patron. The situation was resolved for me afterward. Nevertheless, the awareness team sent a staff member who repeatedly and very forcefully demanded a conversation with me, even though I clearly stated that I didn't want to. I felt this was a violation of boundaries. For me, there's a clear lack of respectful interaction and a reliable sense of security here. Support should be offered – not pressured. At the same time, boundaries should apply equally to all patrons.

I went to the Saukerlebar on Thursday; it was well-attended and a great evening. I hope it happens again soon! What I find a bit of a shame, though, is that the Schlagersau (a German music event) is held so rarely. It's always packed and the atmosphere is fantastic; it should happen more often!

It's alright for an evening out, although it's a queer scene with a lot of lesbians, but that seems intentional, hence the derogatory name referring to gay men. If you're in Germany, it's the only place to go – I find the decor very stylish and the restrooms are very clean.
