Eterna Inocencia in Mar del Plata
About the event
The historic melodic hardcore band Eterna Inocencia celebrates three decades of career with a show in Mar del Plata at Ciudad Cultural Brew House on September 4. Tickets are now available with a 50% discount for subscribers of Comunidad Indie Hoy.
Formed by Guillermo Mármol, Roy Ota, Alejandro Navajas, Federico Lombardi, and Germán Rodríguez, Eterna Inocencia is one of the key bands in Latin American punk and hardcore, having brought their songs to various stages in Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Switzerland, and recently, Brazil, where they performed for the first time in July 2025 to great acclaim.
As part of the celebrations, the group released the single "Contra todos," a Spanish version of a song by Dead Fish, one of Brazil's most influential independent bands, featuring their singer Rodrigo Lima. The track anticipates a series of shared dates between the groups in both countries, in a gesture of unity between referents of the continent's DIY ethic.
The anniversary tour follows a 2024 of great growth for the group, with sold-out shows in much of the country and memorable performances such as those at Teatro Coliseo in Santiago, Chile, to over 2,300 people, and Teatro Flores in Buenos Aires, both shows recorded on video and released as Episode 1: Santiago de Chile and Episode 2: Buenos Aires.
