La Joaqui is one of the most important artists in the Argentine urban scene and a leading figure in RKT. Born Joaquinha Lerena de la Riva in Mar del Plata, she began her career in freestyle and was one of the first women to stand out in rap battles. Over time, she built her own identity that led her to become a central figure in urban music, combining RKT, trap, cumbia, and electronic sounds.

In 2026, La Joaqui is entering a new artistic phase with the release of ELECTRA, her fourth studio album. The album consists of 11 songs and explores an aesthetic marked by sensuality, darkness, club culture, the industrial, and provocation. The album features collaborations with Six Sex, Ángela Torres, Callejero Fino, Gabito Ballesteros, Loyaltty, and Doble P, and expands the boundaries of RKT towards neo-perreo, cumbia, corrido tumbado, and electronic music.
