About this place Nené Bar

Nené Bar is a gay bar located in San Carlos de Bariloche, nestled in the Río Negro province of Argentina. It serves as a social gathering space for LGBTQ+ visitors and members of the local community. The venue is situated on San Martín, one of the main streets in this Patagonian city, making it reasonably accessible for those exploring the area. San Carlos de Bariloche is a picturesque destination in the Andes foothills, known for its stunning natural landscape, outdoor activities, and increasingly visible LGBTQ+ scene. This bar offers a chance to connect with like-minded travelers and locals in a dedicated gay-friendly space. Whether you're looking to unwind after a day of sightseeing, meet other travelers, or experience the local nightlife culture, a gay bar typically provides a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere where you can be yourself. The Spanish omelet was very good, a little high in salt but with a great flavor. The lamb brioche looked like it would be excellent, but in my opinion, it had a very strong flavor that overpowered each bite. Even so, it was a good dish. The pizza, although we ordered a simple one, was quite good. A little high in salt as well, but that's probably just our taste. The service was excellent, and the place is cozy. We recommend going.

The place is very nice, with a great atmosphere. The food is delicious; there isn't a huge variety of dishes, but they're all good. Personally, the drinks didn't blow me away because they all tended to be very sweet, but you could tell they were well made. It's a bit pricey for what they offer, but very good.

Honestly, it was incredible. We went twice during our trip. The service was always impeccable, very friendly, and very attentive to everything! Even though there were three of us, we didn't find it expensive at all for the quality they offer, because the food and cocktails are delicious! We all ordered dishes to share: vitel toné, trout tiradito, potato omelet, quarter pounder, koji-aged beef, and the chocolate lava cake for dessert! With two cocktails each, we spent around 69,000 pesos per person and we weren't hungry at all. We also ordered the mushroom goulash the first time we went, which was spectacular. So, highly recommended!!!

The hamburgers are snack-sized and come with three fries. The large pizzas are slightly bigger than a plate and served cold. They need to put in a little more effort. The pint of beer isn't a pint; it's a glass slightly wider than your regular glass. It's a shame to have to give this review, but several of us went, and our conclusion is not to return. The menu is limited, and it's expensive for what they offer.
