Hotel Mitru Sur

A perfect option if you want a party hostel, less good if you want to rest at a 5 star hotel. We were on the 7th floor and a party upstairs on the 9th continued until almost 1am, with loud music coming down the open sides of the building and into our room. When I went to discuss with reception, the manager Mariana Pereira gave me the option of dealing with it or leaving the hotel (at midnight). The party upstairs probably paid the hotel a lot of money to rent the space so they didn't care about us. The pool and bathroom (we booked a more expensive suite) was nice to be fair but if a 5 star hotel doesn't let you rest, the amenities don't make any difference. We paid a lot for a nicer suite to get some rest and didn't end up sleeping even 5 hours before we had to get up. Not worth the risk if you're on a business trip or if you just want a nice rest during a holiday. Go for it if you like partying, then you can use some cool amenities then party the night away. The receptionist fobbed me off telling me they'd get back to me about a refund for that night then ignored me after I left the hotel. Top service.

Upmarket atmosphere, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Dinner service was a little slow

Great. Nice rooms, rain shower was amazing. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection. It’s a bit out of town but I preferred that as it was quieter at night. Taxis are pretty cheap anyway.

Cannot fault, large well equipped rooms, good reasonably priced food and exceptional service. Of special note was Juan Pablo on reception- nothing was too much trouble, thank you!

We went to the bar at the invitation of some friends. What a lovely place! It was a weekday, so it was just the two of us. The service was excellent, and the cocktails we tried were delicious! 🧡

Very nice room and bathroom. The pool and sauna area were great. Excellent service, super friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Fantastic!

I came to a meeting, and from the moment we entered, a young man was very friendly and invited us in. Once inside, we were shown to the meeting room, all in an exquisite and tasteful setting. The service was almost immediate; they came to offer us coffee and refreshments. There was a pitcher of water on the table with a glass for pouring.
