About the event

The training action is part of the company's season at CCBB Brasília and proposes an immersion in the language that unites dance, theater and circus
Between August 15 and 22, Brasília hosts the artistic residency A Palhaçaria pelo Movimento, promoted by Companhia Lamira Artes Cênicas as part of its season at CCBB Brasília. Aimed at dance, theater and circus artists, the activity shares the creation methodology developed by the company over 15 years of research in theater, dance and clowning.
With a workload of 15 hours distributed over five meetings, the residency presents participants with the principles that guide Lamira's artistic research. Inspired by the language developed in the shows Gibi and Luna de Miel, the proposal investigates the construction of comedy beyond words, exploring communication through the body, scenic presence and an aesthetic linked to the grotesque, in a practice that encourages experimentation and the development of a unique language.
The programming begins on August 15, at CCBB Brasília, with a workshop that includes a screening of the show Luna de Miel. Registered participants will receive a ticket for the performance and, at the end, will participate in a mediation led by Henrique Rochelle, professor, researcher, dance critic and doctor in Performing Arts, who will promote a space for dialogue about the company's creative processes and the themes addressed by the work.
