36th Biennial of São Paulo — itinerant exhibition at MUNCAB
About the event
"Not all travelers walk roads – On humanity as practice," the theme of the 36th Biennial of São Paulo, arrives in Salvador with curation by Keyna Eleison and Thiago de Paula Souza, in the first itinerant exhibition of the show at MUNCAB — a museum dedicated to the preservation and valorization of Afro-Brazilian history and culture, which hosts the Biennial Foundation's itinerant program for the third time. Inspired by the poem "Of Calm and Silence" by Conceição Evaristo, the Biennial has as one of its central foundations the active listening to humanity in constant displacement, encounter, and negotiation. The Bahian itinerant exhibition is sponsored by Instituto Motiva, Metrô Bahia, and Petrobras.
