Talisman" by Ali Banisadr at Thaddaeus Ropac | Marais

Densely orchestrated pictorial worlds, archetypal figures, and memory-laden objects traverse "Talisman," the new exhibition by Tehran-born, New York-based artist Ali Banisadr, featuring paintings, sculptures, and pastels at Thaddaeus Ropac Marais. The exhibition runs parallel to the artist's solo show at the Musée national Gustave Moreau in Paris, open from September 9th to December 7th, and directly dialogues with the work of the French symbolist master, who became a central reference for this new production by Banisadr.
