Winter Sun" by Jordan Casteel at Thaddaeus Ropac | Marais

In a cold, earthy palette inspired by deep winter light, Jordan Casteel presents her first solo exhibition in France with "Winter Sun," featuring paintings produced in the first half of 2026 that deepen her ongoing investigation into kinship and place. The exhibition also includes a series of smaller-scale botanical works, painted from life – true "portraits" of flowers that function as intimate emblems of cultivation and presence, in direct parallel to the human figures that accompany them.
