The Instituto da Diversidade do Amazonas is the leading LGBTQ+ advocacy organization in Manaus and the main organizer of the city's annual Parada do Orgulho LGBT+, one of the largest diversity events in northern Brazil. Long associated with community leader Bruna La Close, the institute works on human rights, health outreach and cultural programming for the Amazonas LGBTQ+ community. It is the primary point of contact for Pride and diversity initiatives in the state.
