The room we stayed in was in an apartment, not the hotel. It was beautiful, well decorated, and had an excellent view. The hotel's common area leaves something to be desired as it requires care and maintenance.

Unfortunately I had one of the worst experiences at this hotel I ever had in Brazil. I had the chance of traveling around Brazil discovering that service is not core business of Brazilian culture. But this hotel has the worst service I ever experienced. Starting on check in, followed by that check in was not completed by the employee at the front desk and finally cleaning staff entering into my room without even knowing the door. After that front desk employee never apologized and refused to call manager. What you can expect from this kind of behavior? Everything else doesn’t matter.

Excellent! The Tropical Hotel is undoubtedly one of the most fantastic and remarkable places in the region. Its grandeur begins with the very essence of its construction: it is a true historical landmark, meticulously designed to accommodate a huge flow of people. It is the ideal place for those who want to travel and experience a unique adventure, often remembered by many as a true "sky hotel" due to its imposing atmosphere, structural beauty, and integration with the lush nature. It is a place that impresses from the very first moment. In addition to its strong vocation for leisure tourism and for welcoming travelers from all over the world, the Tropical Hotel stands out spectacularly in hosting large-scale corporate events. The infrastructure of the place is simply impeccable for this purpose. To give you an idea of its capacity and prestige, the hotel has already been the chosen venue for hosting major national conventions, such as the impactful Hinode events, which brought together thousands of people, as well as important and decisive meetings of large business brokers. The hotel's greatest asset in these moments is its impressive capacity for organization and reception. On all of these occasions mentioned, the structure responded perfectly, and it was entirely possible for all guests and congress participants to take part with maximum comfort, safety, and practicality. The auditoriums, common areas, and logistical support of the hotel ensure that any type of meeting — whether a large sales celebration or a strategic business meeting — takes place without any bottlenecks. If you are looking for a destination that perfectly combines rich local history, a monumental accommodation capacity for those traveling in large groups, and a convention center that is superbly prepared for high-level events, this is the right place. For the history, the service, and the impeccable structure that welcomes everyone masterfully, my rating is, without a doubt, five stars! I recommend it wholeheartedly for both tourism and business.

Wow! I loved this hotel! It has a wonderful view of the river, very pleasant people, kind and helpful staff. And it also has its own tourism agency where you can book your tours around the city.
