The room was nice, but the bathroom had many issues, no hot water the first day, the sink leaked and the water tap fell apart. The hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The location was a mix. It's in the city center, so it was near many interesting places like theaters, museums and restaurants, but it was also dirty, loud and unsafe, we saw many rats out front. We were approached on the sidewalk when we were waiting for our Uber who told us to not just stand there because there were many robberies in the area, the hotel doesn't have a garage and the parking situation in the area is messy at best (you need to download an app to pay for parking but you can't do it if you're not brazilian because you need a CPF, and you can only stay up to 3 hours or else you get fined) Overall the hotel was good, the negative experiences were mostly related to the location. I'd suggest using only Uber for transport for comfort, it's even cheap in the area
