Great private room, central location, proper hostel vibes. LOCATION: Very central – just 2 minutes from the main square. Around 25 minutes’ drive from the airport. ROOM: Stayed in a private room – lovely space, clean, comfortable, and had good aircon. Only downside: no mirror in the bathroom. CLEANLINESS: Room was very clean, no issues. SAFETY: Felt safe throughout. Hostel is gated, with a secure entrance. FACILITIES: Small dipping pool open from 9am. Buffet breakfast available (we didn’t try it). Hostel organises daily activities – great for social travellers. COMMUNICATION: Staff spoke excellent English. Communication was easy, and check-in was smooth. IMPROVEMENT: Would have liked a mirror in the bathroom. VALUE FOR MONEY: Very good value – highly recommend for central location and quality of stay. Short Summary: Stayed as a couple on a budget, booked in advance and paid online. Clean and comfortable with proper hostel atmosphere. Aircon worked well, and we felt safe. Easy check-in and great for travellers who want a base in central Manaus.

Great experience! I stayed in a shared room with 4 bunk beds and had no problems. The bed is very comfortable, with a curtain, power outlet, and lamp. The bathrooms are clean, and overall the spaces are well-organized. The common area is quite good, with plenty of fans and spaces that encourage socializing. For me, the highlight is the location. I walked all around the city center at all times of day.

My stay at Local Hostel exceeded all expectations. As I was traveling alone, I was looking for a place that would make me feel safe and, at the same time, have a friendly atmosphere, and I found exactly that here. The environment is super organized, clean, and with very well-maintained common areas, which makes it much easier to meet new people. The staff's service was a special highlight: everyone was very helpful and gave me valuable tips about the area, which made me feel much more comfortable getting around. The location is also excellent, and the atmosphere is contagious. I will definitely return on a future occasion. Highly recommended for those seeking comfort, security, and an incredible vibe!

It's a beautiful and welcoming place. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Located in the city center, it allows easy access to historical sites and old buildings. Nearby, there are several tours available that offer a better understanding of the city and its natural surroundings.
