Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience. The rooms had old mattresses, and the shower water didn't get hot. The gym was full of construction materials at the door, making it impossible to enter. Breakfast offers a lot of things, some of which are very tasty. But one day my wife had an upset stomach, but we didn't find out what caused it. However, the next day my wife had a sandwich with ham and mozzarella, and we saw that the mozzarella was moldy. Something I hadn't eaten. Then we understood why she got sick and I didn't. But when we brought the problem up with both the restaurant staff and the receptionist on duty, we didn't see any action that would change anything. So here's a tip: be careful what you eat there.

My experience at the Andrade Amazonas hotel chain was extremely negative. Throughout our stay, we found several small cockroaches in the room. When we complained at reception, we were informed that other rooms were also experiencing the same problem, and they even gave us a household insecticide to deal with the situation ourselves. A friend who was staying with me had to change rooms, and the new room had terrible hygiene conditions, including urine in the toilet. She ended up canceling her stay and going to another hotel. The worst happened when I returned home to São Paulo and found cockroaches in my luggage, causing real concern about a possible infestation in my home. I contacted the chain seeking a suitable solution, but the only offer presented was a voucher to use again at the same hotel, without any financial reimbursement. I am leaving this account here to warn other guests.

As everyone knows, the hotel itself has been around for a while. It's still under renovation. But, I went with a bit of apprehension because of so many bad reviews. But, for a hotel with great value for money, and everything being close by, I found it super interesting. I arrived at the hotel, my check-in was super quick. I stayed on the 6th floor. The room itself was impeccable. Very clean, smelled nice. The air conditioning was already "on". So, it was already in great condition! The pool was quite cold, the gym equipment is indeed old. The breakfast is ok, it was quite tasty. The fruit was cold, the coffee was good. The elevator is a little old, but working normally. Personally, I liked it a lot. Despite going with some apprehension.

We were comfortably accommodated on the 10th floor. Yes, the hotel needs maintenance – the room door and elevators. Nicole at reception attended to us very well and deserves praise.

It could be improved. The mattress is too soft. The gym (since it has one) could also be better. Otherwise, the breakfast is good, the room service is good, the service is good, and the location is very good for those who like to explore the city center, which was our case.
