Great location, just steps from the square where the Amazonas Theatre is located. Charming place, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, clean pool. I booked a room for 3 people, electric shower, TV, air conditioning and mini-fridge were all good. I only missed a mirror and a place to put clothes. There was no mold. Bed, pillow and mattress were okay. For the price, it suited me very well.

The staff are very helpful and polite, doing everything to ensure a pleasant stay. The location is great, with many things to visit nearby. The breakfast is good. The rooms need more care and maintenance, although they are well decorated and beautiful; the pillows are hard, the shower is either cold or boiling hot, and there is too much light coming from the windows. Because it rained a lot, there was a leak inside the room. The 3-star rating is for the staff; the hotel itself would be a 2.

The good things include the breakfast, the service, and the location. However, there were many more bad things, such as: - a hard and uncomfortable mattress, almost like a board, - noisy air conditioning that made it impossible to sleep, like it was clicking or popping, - the light coming from the hallway was unbearable, - the shower water was either very hot or very cold, with nothing in between, - the shampoo and body wash were practically just water, impossible to use, - very rough towels. Despite its nice appearance, it was very uncomfortable. I also booked this hotel after returning from Amazon, but I cancelled. I do not recommend it.

We only stayed one night – we had a room on the ground floor. The room was okay – nothing more, nothing less. The slightly musty smell was probably due to the age of the building and the climate. Nevertheless, the room was clean. The pillows were terrible, but they were tolerable for one night. Breakfast was rather mediocre – but yes, for the price and for just one night, it was acceptable! The place definitely had charm.
