Bourbon Sao Paulo Business Hotel

The hotel isn't bad, but it's definitely not a 4-star. The services are meager. The restaurant serves a tasteless lunch that looks like pre-prepared food. It closes early, and room service is practically nonexistent. I got the impression that it's a hotel aimed at a high-turnover clientele, who spend the day working, eat whatever they can find, and go to sleep. If you're on vacation, as I was, and want to enjoy the hotel in a relaxed, unhurried way, the Bourbon Rio isn't for you.

I didn't stay at this hotel, which I chose very carefully. But I'll leave my opinion here so that if there's a need to relocate guests, they are informed before being sent to any other hotel. I was relocated to the Transamérica Prime, a hotel very far from FISPAL. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were informed of the water tank incident, put in a taxi and sent to this hotel. Arriving there at 8 pm, the Transamérica reception had no reservation in our name. In a call with the Rio Bourbon hotel, with Ms. Raquel, she told us to stay at the Transamérica, which did have the reservations. We contacted CVC, which also didn't know about the relocation, and the saga of the accommodation began until 11 pm. When they let us stay in a spare room until the next day, so we wouldn't be on the street. The next day, they decided to let us use the spare room until the end of our stay. What kind people, right? An embarrassing and unpleasant situation. And Mrs. Raquel should be nicer to the customers.

I don't know if I should call it an experience or a trauma. My stay started perfectly, with nothing but praise; unfortunately, an incident occurred at the hotel, flooding all the floors due to the water tank. I packed my bags in a hurry and was induced to be evacuated to a hotel of their choosing. I was tired, it was Friday at the end of the day and I was exhausted after the São Paulo traffic. I remember them calling a taxi and I got in (alone, without knowing where I was going, trusting that it would be a good hotel. I asked the staff three times if the next hotel was good and they all agreed that it was). The taxi driver dropped me off at a hotel well below expectations. The hotel was no longer returning calls, not even from Booking.com. The new accommodation had no working television, my room had no Wi-Fi and the air conditioning was hot, I was cold all night and got sick. I spent Saturday in bed, losing the reason for my trip (conference). I brought my flight forward to come home. My lawyer called two days later to request a refund for the stays I didn't use, and the response was that there are no refunds since I agreed to stay at the other hotel. Now I'm waiting for a response from Booking.com, which has already promised me a refund. What I once praised, I now criticize. Customer support is nonexistent. I will never return, and I'm here to let everyone know the nightmare I went through. Attached are images of the hotel where they relocated me.

I went to a Bradesco course and we had a coffee break provided by the hotel. Everything was well-served and delicious, and the service and friendliness of the employee Thiago, who is responsible for setting up the coffee, deserve praise for his kindness and attention to the people attending the course.
